The eight assurance areas of opsasto — the original infographic, July 2016. Redrawn in the geelen & co. brand.

This is the original 2016 infographic — the diagram that introduced the eight before any of the chapter-by-chapter pieces existed. It pre-dates the April 2017 redrawn version; the substance hardened a little in the gap between them, but the shape was already there.

Eight tiles. Four across, two down. A number, a name, a one-line gloss. The chart had a peculiar quality — people could read it once and remember it. The colour palette (peacock teal, sage green, warm cream paper) became, eventually, the visual seed for the whole opsasto brand.

The 2016 names, in case the exact wording is interesting:

  1. Budget
  2. Architecture
  3. Support
  4. Knowledge
  5. Contracts
  6. Process
  7. Security
  8. Cutover

The names have held. The framework has, too. The reason to keep this older piece in the archive is just to mark the date — July 2016, the first time the eight were named in this order.

For the current version of the framework, see the eight, in full.
