Workshop Designer is a facilitation-planning app: it helps a facilitator design a workshop the way an engineer designs a system — as a precise, timed agenda rather than a rough outline. Every agenda element is a facilitation method with a stated purpose, the participant engagement it is meant to create, the group configuration it needs, and the materials it calls for. The goal is a workshop that is fully specified before anyone walks into the room, and runnable straight from the screen.
The app is organised around two things: an agenda of timed elements and a library of methods. A workshop is built by pulling methods from the library — check-ins, liberating structures, appreciative inquiry, stakeholder analysis, TRIZ, and more — onto a timeline, where each element gets a start and end time, a phase, and its own design detail. Methods can be saved back to the library and reused across projects, and the whole plan flows through a multi-language interface (DE / NL / EN / FR) so the same workshop can be prepared and delivered in the participants’ own language.
Beyond planning, it runs the session: a presenter mode walks the agenda element by element with a per-element timer, and the plan exports as PDF method cards and a facilitator’s guide for use away from the screen. It auto-saves as you work, and is built on the Agentic Engineering Framework and TermLink. It is a live, working app at workshop-designer.geelenandcompany.com rather than a prototype.
