Purpose & goals

Ring20 Dashboard — called “Watchtower” — is the observability web app for the estate, together with the agent that maintains it. Its job is to give a person a single, real-time window into a fleet that mostly runs itself: what is healthy, what is waiting on a decision, and what needs attention right now. Where Ring20 Manager does the work, Watchtower shows it.

Modules & architecture

Watchtower is an observability web application paired with its own maintainer agent. It aggregates three streams into one surface: health probes from across the estate, pending approvals that are waiting on a human, and task and workflow state from the governance framework. Those streams are rolled up from a mesh of probes and from the framework’s own context fabric, so the view reflects live reality rather than a stale snapshot.

Functionality & technology

The result is a real-time situational-awareness surface: a Node web app that presents estate health, the approval queue, and current task/arc state at a glance, backed by a probe-mesh rollup and the framework’s context fabric. It is the human’s primary window into the fleet — the place to see what is running, what needs a decision, and where attention should go — and it is a live, working part of the estate.
